Web Page Access

In order to access your pages you must know your user name and the exact name of the page you want to access including the correct file extension. Then you must type that information into the address window of the Internet Explorer browser. The first section of the address will always be http://gepard.dekalbtech.edu/

Your user name consists of your first, middle (if you have one), and last initials and the last 4 digits of your student ID number. For instance, if your name was John Paul Doe and your student ID number was 987654321, your user name would be jpd4321. You must insert a tilde (~) immediately preceding your name in the address window and a backslash (/) immediately after it. There can be no spaces in the address. Using the page name mypage.html as an example, the correct address would read: http://gepard.dekalbtech.edu/~jpd4321/mypage.html
